Much has been written about SOG - some if it very good and accurate and most of it rubbish!

There is not the space available here to give a complete history of the organisation, instead I hope to illustrate the work of the RTs and Hatchet forces through the images of the uniform and equipment the troops engaged in these extremely hazardous missions.
